Dr. Alan Strizak is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist with more than 30 years of experience working with elite and professional athletes. He has worked as a team physician at the high school, junior college, and university levels. He has served with several United States Olympic Committee teams and was selected as the Chief Medical Officer for Cycling at the 1984 Olympic games in Los Angeles. His baseball medicine experience dates back to his chief residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, where he assisted the team physician for the world champion 1977-1978 New York Yankees. He has continued his work in baseball with the Chicago White Sox organization and Boras Sports Training Institute, and now with ProBall.
