Jim Bollinger

Coach Jim Bollinger is a retired Contractor with 27+ years of coaching experience. Jim Bollinger founded the American Athletics Travel Organization in 1998 and his coaching experience has included Orange Coast College, Mater Dei High School, Villa Park and JSerra. While at Mater Dei (1994-1997) Jim was the Assistant Varsity Coach when the program won their first CIF-SS Div. 1 Championship in 1996 and were ranked No. 1 in the state.
Coach Bollinger is a veteran, having served with the US Army Corp. of Engineers in Vietnam.
Coach Jim and his wife, Susan, currently are the Tournament Directors for the prestigious elite fastpitch showcase, The Champions Cup, which just celebrated over ten (10+) years.
A non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization dedicated to providing a venue for teams to compete as preparation for National Competition, in conjunction provide college exposure and recruitment opportunities. The tournament draws international and U.S. nationwide high school age girls fastpitch athletes. The elite showcase is held in Irvine, California annually with scholarship awards provided to eligible first year freshman attending college from profits generated.
