Jesus Barreto

Specializing in Pitching

Jesus played varsity baseball at St. John Bosco High School during his junior and senior seasons and was named Junior Varsity Pitcher of the Year in 2019. During his senior year, he served as a starting pitcher and finished the season with a 3.96 ERA while competing in the Southern California Trinity League.

Following high school, Jesus continued his baseball career at Vanguard University, where he pitched for five seasons through the program’s transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II competition. Throughout his collegiate career, Jesus earned Scholar Athlete honors four times while receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and graduating Cum Laude. As a true freshman, he appeared in the conference tournament and later earned opportunities as both a starter and reliever throughout his college career.

During his time at Vanguard, Jesus battled through both a UCL sprain and suprascapular neuropathy, experiences that deepened his understanding of arm care and recovery. His experience navigating injury and rehabilitation gave him a unique perspective when working with athletes looking to improve performance while staying healthy.

Jesus specializes in pitching mechanics, arm care, command and velocity development, and helping athletes move more efficiently down the mound. He is passionate about individualized coaching and building confidence in athletes of all ages while focusing on long-term development rather than quick fixes.
